Fareview is an alternative rock band from San Antonio, Texas. Formed of guitarist Colby Edwards, vocalist Tim Lapoint, bassist Marc Trevino ,drummer Ray Cavazos, guitarist Eric Estrada. Fareview’s musical style has been described as Taking Back Sunday meets Incubus, yet has a sound that is completely unique.
Fareview has received local support as well as a growing fan base after opening for such bands as All Time Low, Metro Station, and Forever the Sickest Kids. The band’s many influences include Jimmy Eat World, Blink 182, and the Police. Fareview released their first EP,(with former bandmates Adrian Flores and Nik Carlson) Sails for the Shipwrecked, in June of 2008. The EP features a diverse range of upbeat songs with unique guitar harmonies and strong vocals that connect with the audience.
Fareview has an eclectic sound that, when paired with its strong vocals and powerful live show, makes them able to connect with their audience. Fareview is currently working on new material while touring across Texas, with upcoming shows in San Antonio, Houston, and Dallas.
