DESCRIPTION:
Susie opens the hatch of the clubhouse room, jumps out and escapes.
But there is no hope to get back to her family and life.
She progressively realizes to be dead, but not before to find George Harvey in the bath (so obscene, depraved, vile), still filthy with blood and mud.
The bathroom scene, whose suggestive power is amplified by an unlikely and creepy scenario, is really frightening, almost horror.

The Lovely Bones is a 2009 supernatural drama film directed by Peter Jackson and stars Mark Wahlberg, Rachel Weisz, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Michael Imperioli, and Saoirse Ronan.
A film adaptation of the award-winning and best-selling 2002 novel of the same name by Alice Sebold, the film received numerous accolades, including a Golden Globe, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA and Academy Award nominations.
