As you all probably know, we lost 3 RCMP officers in a senseless tragedy last week. The event happened very close to my hometown and has touched many of us deeply. I had a friend who dropped everything that day and went to Moncton to help out. That is the Maritime spirit. While there a young girl asked her "why did 3 have to die?" A photo of the young girl and my friend Angie (an RCMP officer) surfaced online a few days later. That picture inspired this song. Fallen Hero is a tribute to all the lives lost by brave men and women who fight for our freedom and our safety. I admire you all, this one's for you. xo Makayla Lynn
