Goodiepal - a mini portrait - Video
PUBLISHED:  Apr 11, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Goodiepal is probably the closest you will get to a musical villain. Many tales have been him told about how he has hacked magazines, upset other artists, stolen expensive instruments, and altered perspectives on what you can and cannot do at a live performance. But Goodiepal is also an unrivalled musical intellect who for almost 20 years has been adventuring into experimental techno, manipulated sound design, producing records, folk music, mechanical music, and his own self-coined 'radical computer music' (music arranged for computers and future intelligence).
Originally we had arranged with Goodiepal to record a live session with him, but it turned out somewhat different than we - and probably also Goodiepal - had expected: A mini portrait of Goodiepal by Goodiepal and Unseen Recordings. He tells about getting older and witnessing friends getting older, he talks about being social in the world of art, about racism, people's conception of him as an artist, how The Rolling Stones is a social phenomenon, and lastly Goodiepal utters the only thing he wants to be remembered for - in one sentence.
