The Story Of Medium John
Spawned from Gods infinite imagination, Medium John was special from the moment he was conceived. Swimming in a sack of embryonic fluid, Medium John had already begun his studies in music. His father, who to this day is still the most devoted Bob Marley fan ever to grace this plane of existence, placed headphones on his wifes pregnant belly to expose his unborn son to the wonders of music. On his mothers 31st birthday, June 18th 1984, Medium John made his first appearance on the stage of planet earth.

John spent most of his early childhood like any other kid of the 90s. There were countless hours spent playing Sega Genesis, riding his Power Wheels Big Foot, and trying to figure out the purpose of the Pogo Ball. But nothing could take precedence over the time he spent with music. Enamored by the eternal greatness of the dearly departed Michael Jackson, John would sing along in his room dreaming of being someone truly special.

By the time high school came around John was writing his own music, but at the same time he discovered another passion, acting. John was consistently cast in comedic roles for any theater production he was involved in, and had the uncanny ability to make people laugh. This had transitioned into his song writing as well, but at that time he felt in order to be taken seriously as a musician, you had to write serious songs.

Shortly after high school, things had started to take a downward turn for Medium John. While on scholarship at the prestigious Berklee College of Music, John began to get involved in drugs. Alcohol, weed, coke, zanex, hallucinogens, opiates, you name it and he was high on it. After three semesters John left Berklee to return his home town of Brick and get sober. Now back in New Jersey, God placed two of the most influential people into his life; music mentor and producer Marc Ribler, and the master of business and life management Barry Bergman.

On June 6th 2008 John was arrested for driving under the influence. Having been slapped in the face by karma and guided by his manager and mentor, John has been sober since that date. He looks to stand as a beacon of hope to all who struggle with addictions and his music has become a coping mechanism for all of lifes tribulations. With a now clear head, Medium John has blended his comedic personality with his unbelievable imagination to form a brand new genre of music dubbed Crotch-Pop mixed with a little R&B.
