ESTEBAN

We are a rock band. We tour and make records. When we're not on the road - and we're on the road A LOT - we travel to exotic locations for rest and recreation. It's a lifestyle. Fact: we met while backpacking in Bali when the terrorist attacks happened there in 2002. It was terrifying. It was an eye-opener. Years later we're on this road trip of ours and it shows no signs of ever stopping.



We've toured with Dizzee Rascal, The Zutons, Friendly Fires and The Cuban Brothers. We've played festivals. Last year alone we did over 130 gigs. This year it'll be double that.



Our records sound like "A world sound explosion" according to Total Guitar and "A mad latin thing or a Vampire Weekend vibe, then it burst into that indie rock stomper, cathcy as hell" according to Scottish radio legend Jim Gellately. The blog Line of Best Fit says we are "One of the most exciting emerging bands in the UK". Tom Robinson of BBC 6Music says "There's no one else like them out there". Guilty as charged, we say.
