ROCK ENGINEERS MIXING HIP HOP OR THE REAL THING????
Were 2 Sydney based Audio Engineers who have an offer for the urban music of Australia. Espa (www.myspace.com/espaslab) and Ganesh "G" Singaram (www.myspace.com/ganeshsingaram) have teamed up recently to combine forces and knowledge to create a new fresh sound.
Together we have recorded and worked with many high profile international and local acts which range Pharrell Williams and N.E.R.D, Kanye West, The Menace and OneShot Deliano of Blackwall Street, Lee Groves (Gwen Stefani, Janet Jackson, Black Eyed Peas), INXS, Brandon Flowers (THE KILLERS), You Am I, Jade Macrae, Don Walker (Cold Chisel), Tim Finn (Split Enz), Charlie 'Phenom' Wilson, OverProof, Mirrah aka Shorti RV, Lordz of The Fly, Hyjak n Torcha, Mass MC, DJ Bonez, The DOMINION, Trey and Maya Jupiter, Mystik Journeymen, Murs and much more. We know and understand the mainstream engineers of Australia do not deal exclusively with Hip Hop, they are Rock/Pop engineers mixing Hip Hop, which can be heard in these mixes. The difference with us, we deal and specialise in urban music, which sets us apart from others in this league.
A little bit about us, we both have worked in the industry for many years in different avenues doing our own thing and now both currently work as In House Engineers at the world renowned Electric Ave Studios in Sydney. (www.electricave.com.au). Together we have opened up a new Commercial Mixing Studio at the famous Level 7 Studios.
Now that formalities are over with, our main aim is to create mixes that give the listener a hard hitting, fresh sound that sonically sounds PHAT and pushes the boundaries of what urban music currently sounds like in Australia, which stands up amongst the international market.
