ESK - Electronic Sam Kitson. Self taught multi-instrumentalist and music obsessive. Sam hails from Scarborough - a beautiful seaside town

on the north east coast of England with a thriving music scene. Sam played an important role in the development of the Scarborough scene and later went on to perform with bands in Newcastle-upon-Tyne where he lived for 5 years. Esk was created late 2006, when after years of collaboration in many different bands playing many different styles, the opportunity to collaborate disappeared. Sam took what he had - a laptop, a MIDI keyboard, a bass, and a passion for music.



Sam's first release for Summer Rain Recordings is the EP 'Instrumental Inception' featuring the tracks - 'Esk', 'Audio Out', 'Synthesis' and 'One Note Up'. The tracks on the EP represent early works created late 2006 and early 2007 - which is reflected by the title of the EP. The sound is a blend of electro beats, haunting pianos, rhodes organ, and

atmospheric synths. Esk's sound is inspired by the landscapes around him - the ocean, the forest, and the sky. As esk, Sam continues to evolve, learn, create and share.



My EP came out on the 19th November - the picture of the cover is a link to iTunes where you can download it. The song names for Synthesis and One Note Up have been mixed up though. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
