Heroes come in different sizes and shapes. But when it comes to dance music, it takes a special kind of hero who can bring to the floor a healthy mixture of what was, what's current and what is future. The Heroes Of Housemusic concept has been growing steadily in super club Escape Amsterdam in 2012 and this first 2013 instalment shows that when it comes to electronic music it's al about the finesse, longevity and skill in building a night that's not only about banging out top 40 tunes or taking the easy way out. All artists involved have a task to dig deeper within their musical heroism to come out blazing with their own special ability. Capes and masks are not mandatory, yet allowed. It's all about pure enthusiasm that floats between uplifting energy and drama. Here's a little taste of what happens when the call is answered as we follow the signal in the darklit sky...
