Musicians include: Jim (lead vocal, guitar); Eryn (mandolin); Ricie Eubanks (harmony, upright base); April Posley (violin, including instrumental solo), and on guitars: (L-R) Billy Herman, Frank Carstarphen, Nicky Jewell, Mike Merritt, Don Fisher, Jim Jewell, and (off-camera) Bill Brown. Eryn's music jam is from 4 -- 6 PM every Saturday.
Written and performed by Jimmy Davis, who wrote more than 400 songs in his music career. His first hit was "Nobody's Darlin' But Mine" in 1935. It was his favorite creation. Five years later, his second major hit "You Are My Sunshine" became the adopted song for his home state of Louisiana. Jimmy Davis was Governor for the State of Louisiana for two terms. He was inducted into the Country Music Hall Of Fame when he was 70 years old, and he lived to be 101 years young. "Nobody's Darlin' But Mine" has been covered many times by such artists as the Louvin Brothers, the Statler Brothers, Emmylou Harris, Marty Robbins and Merle Haggard.
