DESCRIPTION:
Social justice documentary short film focused on homelessness in Salt Lake City and one group's powerful impact on the community.

The Legacy Initiative, a volunteer homeless outreach program that is here to not only provide assistance to those in need out of their own feeling of compassion for other humans, but do so without pushing any ideology, expectations, or agendas on those they help. Follow Travis Hysell and the rest of the Legacy Initiative Team through the many obstacles of running outreaches, raising awareness about homelessness, funding & creating the Hope Lockers, gaining funding & support from: businesses, government, nonprofits, and individuals. The viewer’s awareness & understanding of homelessness in salt lake city and how it effects both the homeless and those who assist them will open their minds to the positive impact people are making and how they can assist themselves.
