What's going on? So here's the story. Wade's headset fell off mid-take, so he couldn't hear the rest of us. As a result we blew the ending. But it was a smokin' take otherwise. Even Albini said "That was a good take", and the man is stingy with his compliments. So here we see us re-recording the ending, and then Albini, the old-school magician, seamlessly splices the two takes together. Yes he is marking analog tape with a wax pencil. At the end he is holding a handful of old tape. And nary a Pro-Tools rig in sight. Awesome...
