DESCRIPTION:
A few months ago, I was lucky enough to acquire an extremely rare record on eBay. The legendary but mysterious Emmett Miller's first, which, until a few years ago, was not known to exist. Miller sang the unusual "Pickaninnies' Paradise" and was the first to record "Any Time," which would become Eddy Arnold's theme song. The record features some incredible early-ragtime piano playing by one "Walt Rothrock," too. Note in the video the cover to the rare original sheet music of "Any Time," courtesy of Johnny Maddox.
