DESCRIPTION:
Here is another tune played on a melodeon that I made with Emmanuel Pariselle at a course in Yeovil in 2014. I had given up my job as an airline pilot in 2014, primarily so that I could support my family through the terminal illness of a very close, younger relative. Between daily hospital visits I found time to compose this tune. The title, 'Just One More Day', has more than one meaning to me. It starts slowly but the tempo soon picks up. The melodeon is in 'D/G' and is made of walnut wood, with Jurgens Ciccarelli reeds. For those of you contemplating going on a melodeon making course with Emmanuel, I can thoroughly recommend it! It's great fun! I hope that this video gives you an idea of the sort of melodeon that you could end up with. The notes on the half row favour playing in the keys of 'C', 'F' and 'B flat'.
