"Emma Mae" was recorded on a Teac A-3340s and Tascam 424 to make a total of 8 tracks. The Teac was set at 7.5 ips with Scotch 206 tape. The Tascam was set at High Speed with dbx on and the pitch shift in the + direction for added speed while recording. An Oktava Mk-319 was used on drums with reverb in signal chain. An EV 635a was used vocals and organ (with reverb and delay in the signal chain for vocals). Guitar was DI'd with reverb and a compressor in the signal chainBass was DI'd. A Golden Age Projects Pre 73 was used as a preamp. A Marshall RF-1 reverb pedal was used for reverb. A memory boy was used for delay. An FMR Really Nice Leveling Amp was used for compression.

My 424 only have 3 functional tracks: drums, guitar, and vocal 1 were recorded first. These 3 tracks were bounced onto a track on the Teac. From there, Vocal 2 and Vocal 3 were recorded. Those three tracks were then bounced to the fourth. The remaining tracks were used for bass, guitar, and organ.
