The International Folk Dance Ensemble of Brigham Young University presents a spectacle of traditional music and dance showcasing exquisite costuming and beautiful choreography. The ensemble presents more than a dozen nations, including Ukraine, Russia, Korea, Poland, Mexico, and the United States.

The troupe boasts 42 musicians, dancers and technicians who combine to form a unique group of performing artists. Having celebrated their 50th anniversary in 2006, they have performed for millions of people in more than 50 countries. As an emissary of the United States and American culture, the group travels to the most prestigious folk dance festivals around the globe. The ensemble has gained international acclaim through their performances, sharing the stage with many of the world premiere dance companies.

Reflecting professionalism, exuberance, and friendship wherever they go, these performers are true ambassadors for the joy and excitement of international folk dance.
