In the Past 5 years, Hertlein Guitars has hosted artists from around the country including, Travis Larson Band, Andy Timmons, Doyle Dykes, Greg Koch, Kenny Sultan, Wayne Johnson, Marc Seal, Hot For Teacher, Doug Doppler, Antsy McLane & the Trailer Park Troubadours. Edgar Cruz, Steve Smythe, Adrian Gallysh, Pontiac Drive, Marcus Eaton Trio, Emily Riesen, Featured On Fridays, Points North, Terry Lauderdale Band, Carl Roa, Larry Mitchell, Doug Johns, Russ Pettit, R3(cubed), Scarlet Machine, Rundown Radio and Dave Martone.
Our core of supporters grew and we saw audiences pushing 200. Hertlein Guitars became known by artists as a great place to play and by audiences as the best place to see and hear an artist. We're proud of that heritage.
We've also been fortunate to work with most of the major brand names in the business, but much more important is our staff. Stuff is just stuff without that passionate and knowledgeable person who actually loves sharing the instrument with you.
It's been a thrill to spend the past five years with so many "like minded" people....of course we might just all be crazy. (I mean that in a good way)
Endings are difficult, but this journey has given me five of the best years in my life. I've made so many wonderful friends and artist connections in the past five years...letting go won't be easy, but is inevitable. Hertlein Guitars will be closing it's doors before the end of the year. Many people built this store and continued to give it life with a friendly, relaxed and very cool vibe. I'm thankful to all of them for making this chapter of my life Rock and Roll. Doug, Ryan, Roland, Adam, Michele, Jimmy, Scotty, Dave, Rick, Matthias, Bianca, Russ, Scott, Danny, Darrel. You've been the best "inner circle" I can imagine. I've felt loved, respected, challenged and supported by all of you.
I could never narrow down the bigger list and serve justice to all, but the life and breath of the store is shared by so many friends who we label customers, artists, vendors.
