DESCRIPTION:
Emily Adams, aged 17, won £750 for Trinity Hospice Blackpool in the final of Furness Charity Challenge 2012. Emily was spurred on to raise money for the charity by the fact that her best friend's family were identified as having a genetic susceptibility to cancer. The Charity Challenge talent competition was organised by Furness Building Society to raise awareness of the extraordinary work of charities and their supporters. Twelve charities were represented in the final which took place at the Lancaster Grand Theatre.
