DESCRIPTION:
Emanuel Sandgren wrote this beautiful song of a hope stronger than everything else. The 18th of July 2014 Emanuel Sandgren, one of the two birds, sadly passed away in cancer only 33 years old. Two Birds released the song on there first and only studio album in 2013. This was meant to be there second single.

"The 18th of July, 2014, one of my best friend, our amazing bird Emanuel, sadly passed away in cancer, 33 years old. I have no words really. Only tears. And our pact. Emanuel was and is irreplacable. These two birds have sung for the last time together on this earth. The pain is indescribable. Two Birds was never about Two Birds. We were about heart - a heart bigger and stronger than anything. About songs, tunes and rythms inspired by that heart. Two Birds was about a love bigger and stronger than anything, about recieving, sharing and enjoying that love, God’s love, through friendship and creativity. We held our beloved Two birds-journey with open and grateful hands. That was our pact. The pain is indescribable. So is my gratitude. I got to be the Ellen bird. I got to be warm, encourageing, humle, talented Emanuel’s friend. I am one of those who got to laugh, cry, create, dream and live with him. We helped eachother to live the dreams and songs that were born in our hearts. To seriously and playfylly dress them in the most beautiful clothes. We helped eachother to fly. I miss him. We miss him. So much. His last text to me and my John came at a rehearsal with some other musicians: ”Peace and peace again over you. Make sure you have fun. I really I wish I could’ve joined you in some little way ;)”Death didn’t win. Love did. Peace did.. The love, stronger than anything, did. Life won. One bird will now be singing in heaven and one bird on earth. ’Til we meet again.
