"Fooled Around And Fell In Love" was released in 1975 on Elvin Bishop's album, Struttin' My Stuff.

If asked what my favorite song of all time is, this is one of maybe 5 songs that I'm likely to answer (recently completed a video for another one, "The Air That I Breathe").....for 3 reasons; Elvin Bishop plays one of my favorite guitar solos, Mickey Thomas delivers a truly extraordinary vocal performance....and no matter what I'm doing or where I am, if I hear this song, I'm lost to it until the final note! ;-) Just such a great, great track, on of the touchstone tracks of my life, it takes me right back to the carefree days of my youth, when the slowly billowing white clouds and bright yellow sun filled the the brilliantly blue sky overhead while we swayed on the raft in the middle of the huge swimming pool at Ft. Clark Springs....when A.M. radio held sway over the airwaves and songs like "Fooled Around And Fell In Love" were always in our ears making us smile! I give this song 5 :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)!!!
