A really great day in the studio.

Sometimes things just move along very simply and easy.

It helps when you have good music and remarkable musicians to work with.

Today I recorded with Einar Baldursson. He is the guitarplayer of Gösta Berlings saga and a close friend. Today we were working on overdubs for two Akaba tracks. Lifetimespenders and Everything Matters.

We have developed a very fast and easy way of working together. Generally when we record we work in layers and try to create an entire arrangement of guitars. Today we used Einars Nocaster, a Danelectro 12-string and an old semiacoustic Eko 12 string. We also used a lot of different guitareffects and amplifiers to try to chisel out the sounds as much as possible and to create a specific atmosphere for every section.
