I've always loved Prince's music since I was a kid. And I was obsessed with his song Sign o' the Times. A couple of years ago I talked to Eagle Nebula James, a talented hip hop singer from California whose lyrics are full of sharp political and social criticism. With her I wanted to write a follow-up of Sign o' the Times, thirtysomething years later. Looks like not much has changed. It's the album's closing track.
