Hello dear friends!

I hope that you had a great February month so far. I’ve been really busy in this past month, working on divergent project with other composers, and also in the field of theology. I recorded some vocals for my dear brother and composer named "Sybrid" and we can’t wait to share it with you friends!

I’m really grateful to the Lord to finally be able to share «A Sacrifice To Save You» with you friends. You mean the world to me. You have no ideas how grateful I am to have your support.

It is really strange how this orchestration came to existence. Actually, I was working on a kind of «Pirate track». I was really enthusiastic for it, but I felt that something was missing. I was always confused to a certain point while listening to it.

So, I said to God, « God, would you please help me for this orchestration? I feel that something is missing». And I sit down and a whole new melody came out. So I wrote it and found it better than my previous «Pirate work». That is why I’m so grateful to Jesus, he did all of it to be honest.

But the mood was totally different from the Pirate track. I was feeling a high degree of Bravery in the suffering. The more I was listening to it, the more I felt the notion of Sacrifice. I heard an unconditional love, devoted to human kind.

Sometimes, a composition moves me to tears so much that I’m obligated to stop a bit. I always ask Christ to give me something relevant for those who listen to my work. As said it, you friends mean the world to me. It’s a path we live together. I don’t want to make music for myself, but for you and God.

The Sacrifice of Christ became my new start when I was 19 years old. He saved me from death literally. It was complicated to understand Him because of my cliches I had. I thought it was a catholic thing, involving an unflattering clergy, full of corruption etc. But basically, it’s not this. There is a difference between the Jesus of the Bible and the Jesus we know by the catholic organization.

Jesus never taught to create physical churches, never created any clergy nor complicated rituals. Jesus just wants to have a personal relationship with the concerned believer. This is basically what my faith is. I live it all days and everywhere.

More about the construction of the piece :

Basically, you have two main melodies.

0:43 To 1:31 : The first part describe the pain Jesus is enduring to Save Humanity. But the Passion he has for us is stronger and unstoppable. I chose sopranos voices to illustrate the nostalgia and the lamentations.The staccatos (short notes behind the melodies) that you can hear all along represents the perfect devotion and determination Jesus has to be put to death to Save us.

1:33 : The second main melody that you can hear represents the Victory that Jesus has over death and suffering. It represents his conquest of death itself and lead to the Resurrection.

But before to end this description, I wanted to say few words about the Artwork presented in this video.

I came across this painter called « Anatoly Shumkin» couple of days ago. I was searching for a good interesting painting of Christ and came to his profile by accident. I thought that the painter was dead already because his work seems made by old legendary painters! And thank God I was wrong. He is alive and he lives in Russia (St. Petersbourg).

My excitation was huge, I took contact with him rapidly to congratulate him and ask him if he would be okay to let me use one of his masterpiece in my channel! By grace he said yes. So my friend!
