Edge Of Spirit was formed in 1997, and started playing shows in Osaka area. Signed with Indivisual Records/Sony Music Entertainment and put out a 1st record "Screaming For The Truth" in 1999, as of now the sales counts more than 15,000 copies, the album has been the hardcore masterpiece nationwidely. Being grown by both hardcore and metal music, the band made it to creat hardcore music mixed with scandinavian metal and has originated the style. The band relocated to Tokyo in 2000 and got on full japan dates with Arch Enemy, The Haunted, Nile and Exodus. Opened up for The Acacia Strain, Agnostic Front, Bleeding Through, Madball, Maroon, Merauder, Napalm Death, Skarhead, Vader and many more acts. Until 2010, they have released 4 full-lengths through 4 of labels and played more than 700 shows including dates in Australia, Canada, Korea and US.
