Producer, songwriter and musician Eddy J. Free's music has been heard on television shows nationwide including MTV's "The Real World." His fifth collaborative project titled "Star Trek" was just released May 2011 and features ten guest artists. His debut album titled "Mad City 2010" featured 15 hip-hop and R&B artists from across North America. The album was the first in a series of four projects released in 2010 which raised funds for the 'Keep A Child Alive' organization, for which Alicia Keys is a spokesperson. All of Eddy's music can be purchased at www.eddyjfree.com.
Eddy has also remixed and produced songs for a variety of artists, co-produced with multi-platinum producer Kayo (LaFace Records, Toni Braxton, TLC) and had the opportunity to work with and learn from musicians such as legendary jazz bassist Charlie Haden and bassist/grammy award-winning producer Andrew Gouche (Mary Mary, Warren G, The Winans and Chaka Khan).
In 2007, Eddy's production skills caught the attention of entertainment attorney Darrell Thompson, whose clients have included Jay-Z, The Black-Eyed Peas, D'Angelo & Raphael Saadiq and he was signed to a management deal.
