DESCRIPTION:
I made this recording for the builder of this guitar "Sergei Oreshin" oreshinguitars.com It is recorded with a Samsung Galaxy S2 phone with no audio editing. This guitar was built in the Viennese style like the famous Russian guitarist Sergei Orekhov used to perform on, with traditional 19th century ladder bracing and bolt on neck. It has a German Spruce top, and Macasser Ebony back and sides (solid). The exotic Macasser gives a Rosewood like tone. This guitar is only 2 month old at this point, with only about 20 hours of playing on it. it already sounds quite open for such a young instrument.
The piece i am performing an early 19th century Russian composition by Andrei Syrcha called "As From Beyond the Forest". This is my first youtube video in a long time, and i now play with a new right hand technique, which i am still working at.
