DESCRIPTION:
“Easy Life (Tobtok remix)” is a collaboration made in European club heaven: dreamy Swiss pop star Jaël has teamed up with British singer-songwriter James Walsh (Starsailor) and Sweden’s Nu Disco new kid on the block, Tobtok, in an essential summer track.

Released on June 15, 2015, “Easy Life (Tobtok remix)” is the first single taken from the album, “Shuffle the Cards”, recorded and produced by Eliot James (Kaiser Chiefs, Noah and the Whale). The album, Jaël’s first solo project after 15 years fronting the Swiss platinum-selling band Lunik, is scheduled for release in autumn 2015.

“Easy Life (Tobtok remix)” showcases the lyrical and vocal strengths of two pop heavyweights. Jaël and James Walsh met in the studio, penning “Easy Life” together with Eliot James and Erlend Mokkelbost. The Tobtok remix has the Swedish talent’s signature French House and Nu Disco beats. A 21-year-old wunderkind who nearly went deaf after contracting cancer, Tobtok also recently remixed French chart-topper Charly Winston and Russian electronic duo Hard Rock Sofa.

This marks a return to the dance scene for Jaël who has a following after being featured on Delerium’s hugely popular and UK dance chart-topping “After All” (Svenson and Gielen Remix), and tracks by Schiller and DJ Tatana.

Jaël’s pop-writing credits include platinum and gold-selling albums in Switzerland. In Germany, she featured on platinum-selling album "Sehnsucht" by Schiller and in Switzerland on a 2014 double platinum Christmas single. Her songs have made it to number one in Swiss airplay charts and the top 30 airplay in Germany. “After All” feat. Jaël (Svenson and Gielen Remix) has over a million views on YouTube as well as having got to number one of the UK dance charts.
