At like the very start of the year [pretty sure it was like the 2nd of January or something], I got this random tweet from a guy named Shawn Mendes regarding a cover I did of "I See Fire". After that, I did a bit of stalking and turns out the guy is like uber flippin popular on the interwebs for the covers he does so my feed began to get a lot more active than it ever had been in the past.

During that time of crazy influx, I received a tweet from this girl who is one of his fans asking me to do a cover of this song because he did one. But seeing as it was so close to him doing his version of the song, I decided to wait a few months otherwise I'd feel like a douche.
