DESCRIPTION:
A fantastic performance by The Seonaid Aitken Set, led by "sizzling violinist" Seonaid Aitken and featuring brothers Davy and Paul Dickson (bodhran/guitar), and with Treacherous Orchestra's Duncan Lyall (bass).
Their sound is an exciting blend of driving folk melodies, gypsy-jazz swing, bluegrass licks and virtuosic improvisation which is all complimented by their fine set of voices.
