The second Viking song! The song tells of Odin.
This time I chose to actually „sing", in Swedish and with actual lyrics. A suggestion for this song: Listen to it right after „Einherjer", they connect into one big song, which is the purpose of my Viking songs. I will compose many more and connect them all into a 1 hour long video at the end. =) It will take a long time though until that's ready.^^

Here are the lyrics and the translation:
Lyrics written and „sung" by myself, translated into Swedish by Mattias Sätervi.

-

Of an endless winter he dreams
In a black hall he sits and awaits the frost
Of the earth's stillness he dreams
His spear raised high he commands the snow to cover the land

In his dream he sees a winter without spring and the throne in his hall is frozen
And the world's breath grows weary

Two more notes:
People were asking me how would I know what kind of music the Vikings really made, since they are gone since centuries. But I don't claim to know that, what I do is writing ABOUT Vikings.^^ I don't know what they played 1000 years ago, I simply compose music that I personally see fitting to tell tales about them. I hope that clears up the misunderstanding.^^

The second note is about my „singing" in this song: I'm from Switzerland and don't have real knowledge of Swedish, however our languages have many similarities so I understand a lot without really having to learn Swedish. My friend Mattias was teaching me the pronunciation, but of course I don't sound like a native Swedish person, so if you're from Sweden and thought my way of talking seemed odd: Of course it is. xD

Composed and arranged 100% by myself on keyboard, as always.

The artwork is a wallpaper from „The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim", to which all the credits go of course. If you don't know it already you should definitely check it out.
I will certainly make more Viking songs and listen to them while I visit Skyrim.^^
