Because I live at the end of a long road, and have a wide accessible driveway. Most large vehicles that reach this point in the road use my driveway to turn around. The "driveway" is only about 10 feet deep, the rest is simply earth. As a result of the frequent traffic by large vehicles, a large muddy hole has developed. This driver carefully avoids the hole. If others follow suit, soon the hole will simply expand.
