DESCRIPTION:
Opening for Joan Armatrading, Drew Gibson tells a story and performs his song "1532" to a sold-out crowd at The Birchmere in Alexandria, Virginia on April 16, 2015.

"1532" is about Gibson's uncle who fought and died in Italy in World War II. Before he left for the war, Jack Gibson put his family's house number on his car license plate, which was 1505. 1505 was not available so he got 1532.

When he did not return home to Ricmond, Virginia, the Gibson's kept to numbered plate in the family in Jack's honor. The 1532 license plate has resided in the family for over 70 years, passing from one generation to the next.
