Dream was born October 9,1981 as LaShaun Jackson in Richmond,VA,as a little boy,he always had dreams that he would be a professional basketball player,as he got older he realized that it was just a dream.He grew up in a household where he had 4 brothers his mother and no father,by time he turned 11 he was fascinated wit the flashy cars,clothes and much more. By the age of 12 his older brother had got locked up,mother was addicted to cocaine an no one was there to look after and take care of him so he turned to the streets to provide for his 3 younger brothers.Dream was a scholar roll student but by time he reached the 11th grade he was knee deep in the streets so he dropped out of school and became a full time hustler.In 1998 his best friend Jamal"Slink"Harris was gun down in the streets of Richmond, by that time Dream took the time to do something else.Being that Dream and Slink use to play around free styling, he decided to start rapping. In 2007 Dream started his own label O.C.U Ent.,llc,realizing that the name "Organized Crime Unit" wasn't marketable in 2009 he hooked up with a long time friend(Christopher Canty)and formed a new label called "Top Of Da South Music Group",which O.C.U Ent.,llc would fall under.He would be the first artist to come out under da "Top Of Da South Music Group",it was successful.The label also have other artist that will soon be coming out such as Swift da Son of VA,Slim16 International Snug,B.Muzik,Sowf,Castro,Bino,Candy Monroe,2Boo,Baby Girl and Michelle.The Top Of Da South Music Group is on the rise,they finally made it.........................................
