This is a 1965 reissue of a 1961 "Kings Of Dixieland" record (CST-220). Crown issued eight different albums under "The Kings Of Dixieland", which were initially released to cash in on "The Dukes Of Dixieland" album sales, with the first release being CLP-5045 in 1957. The "Kings" releases were reissued on Modern, Custom, and a couple other Bihari owned labels with different artist credits. Later in 1964 some of the "Kings" releases were reissued under the names like; "The Dixieland Scramblers", "Muskrat Ramblers", "The Village Scramblers". The last uses of the "Kings" material on Crown records was for filler for a Pete Fountain album in 1967.
