Notes -- Cause and Effect, the final track to The White Stripes' excellent 2007 album, Icky Thump. This vinyl LP was mastered by Steve Hoffman at RTI and sounds spectacular, a model for dynamic analog music in the Age of the Loudness Wars. This is why we play music on turntables in the 21st Century.
The turntable is my dependable Sony PS-X5 Direct Drive, and the phono cartridge is a Grado Red. The phono preamp is the superb Rega Fono Mini, and is connected to a Marantz 2235b stereo receiver.
