DESCRIPTION:
"Bluegrass poet" Donna Ulisse and her band The Poor Mountain Boys perform "Black Snake" live at the 2012 International Bluegrass Music Association Fan Fest in Nashville.

The program premieres Tuesday, Oct. 1 at 8/7 p.m. on KET and Saturday, Oct. 5 at 11/10 p.m. on KET2.

Fans know Donna Ulisse as an artist on Atlantic Records where she was signed and released the album Trouble At The Door in 1991. After Ulisse's deal on Atlantic Records ended, she turned her attention to songwriting, and she was recently nominated, for the second year in a row, for an IBMA bluegrass songwriter of the year award.
