Denny Lanez. Remember his name. This Hip Hop dynamo is a rising star about to blaze a new trail in the entertainment arena. With cool confidence, he brings swag, and destined to attract and connect with audiences all over. The multi-faceted Rapper, Actor, and Model has been on a path toward stardom since an early age. The 20-year old Milwaukee native is an amazing undeniable talent on the verge of stardom!
He was raised in a single-parent household since infancy by a supportive mother, after his father’s passing. Fast-forward to years later. In school, he started to come into his own. He would opt to write lyrics instead of taking notes in class, and this would often get him in trouble. His music tells his story. It is usually a reflection of what he’s going through at the current time.
Over the years he has been constantly working at his craft, collaborating, and spitting songs. The fine-tuning can be heard in his fluid delivery. Although music has played an integral part in the soundtrack of his young life, shaping his pivotal years, it is not his only strong suit. As a 9-year old, he began modeling for brands like Kohl’s, and was a member of the prestigious Ford Modeling agency roster.
The spotlight on Denny continued over time, and subsequently, the media also took major notice of his potential, as he was named one of Wisconsin’s Most Talented on the popular “The Morning Blend” TV program in 2014 on the NBC affiliate channel.
As an actor, the versatile performer has appeared on the hit NBC TV show “Chicago Fire”, and in 2015, he was seen in the blockbuster film “Insurgent”.
Denny has released songs in recent years, and has performed with the likes of former American Idol Winner Jordin Sparks at the (WKKV) V100.7 Family Affair Expo. He was also named “An Artist to Watch” on the Sirius XM Shade 45 Radio Show “Sway in the Morning.”
He is evolving on another level..... rising in a more definitive upward trajectory with his signing to the music company, Platinum Keys Records, LLC.
His discography is expanding, a musical progression, being built on a new foundation that produces numerous multi-media projects. Out-the-box, he’s been featured on DJ Envy’s UTS Vol 50 Pt.14 mixtape, with a follow-up of his own, the Official mixtape ’96. All is a prelude to his first EP release on Platinum Keys Records.
