Actually, as the NME notes, some media sources are speculating that the track was written in response to the U.S. government's plan to invade Iraq.

England's NME reports that the Bee Gees singer first posted the clip on Barrygibb.com with a message explaining the track's background. "Michael Jackson and I were the dearest of friends, that's simply what it was," Gibb writes. "We gravitated towards the same kind of music and we loved collaborating and he was the easiest person to write with."

Gibb adds: "The more we got to know each other the more those ideas entwined and it all came to this song 'All In Your Name.' [It's] the message that Michael wanted to send out to all of his fans all over the world that he did it all for them and for the pure love of music. I hope and pray that we all get to hear it in its entirety. This experience I will treasure forever."

In any event, the footage - which Gibb's website says was recorded and filmed at Middle Ear Studios and shot by Ashley Gibb on a high 8 camera - totals over two hours and should come as welcome news to MJ fans.
