The 52nd release on Greece's Movement Recordings sees the Australian trio of The Chunky Fuckers returning to the label for their second appearance. Jayson & Adam Holden & Herc Kass aka The Chunky Fuckers first appeared on the label with their remix of Stage Van H and Chris Mozio's 'Wicked' from May of 2011. Since then the Aussie trio has gone on to appear on Mesmeric, Underground City Music and PolyTechnic. Their return to Movement sees them teaming up with fellow Aussie Chris Meehan who delivered several outstanding releases on Kasey Taylor's Vapour Recordings from 2004 to 2008 and more recently on Movement and Lowbit. The Aussie collective's debut collaboration for Movement is entitled 'Instinct' and it comes with three brand new original productions.

The title cut 'Instinct' leads the EP off with a subtle hypnotic line and some nice metallic percussion. This leads to a short drop which introduces a deep rolling bass line that should have many long time progressive house fans recalling many great Vapour releases of years gone by. With character laden rolls and amazing shape the bottom end comes with big dance floor appeal. An electric sounding synth line serves to darken the atmosphere further before the mood shifts once more with a bubbly sounding hypnotic lead fading into the mix. This carries the composition though an exhilarating peak that should have your dance floor thoroughly engaged.

The second track entitled 'Guided By Vices' begins with a nice shuffling, drummy feel that immediately adds great bounce to the composition. A short drop introduces a galloping bass line that comes with great momentum and huge main room appeal. Soft stabs, pulsating tones and rising atmospheric elements build the piece nicely before some razor sharp synths and nice chord changes in the bass line come in. The main drop is quite short which keeps the dance floor attention high and after a quick build the momentous groove returns for a big peak time finish.

The third and final track entitled 'Yeah Yeah Na' sees Chris going solo and delivering another underground progressive rocker. The track sets itself apart straight away with unique beat patterns and scattered hits that build some amazing anticipation early on. Dynamic drums and fresh sounding electronics along with a rolling subterranean groove and smooth hypnotic lines put a cap on a fabulous three track EP From Chris and the Chunky Fuckers.
