DESCRIPTION:
Ever since Dave Williams of Drowning Pool passed away back in 2002, I've wanted to dig up this video shot at The Basement during the 1989-1991 era, and convert it to digital - not only for safe keeping, but for his family, Drowning Pool band mates, Crazy Jane band mates (his band at the time of this video), friends, fans, and my 100 Proof band mates. The video features my band at the time, 100 Proof, performing Babylon by Faster Pussycat. Dave Williams - along with Micky and Ricky from Crazy Jane - jumped up on stage with us, like they did all the time when we would have shows together. Just a total blast. I hope it does for you what it does for me: takes me back to those early club days at The Basement in Dallas, TX. We used to play with Crazy Jane with great frequency - I think they liked to put us together because 100 Proof and Crazy Jane both had female drummers (me and Mary Denny). No matter the reason, we always loved a show where we got to play with Crazy Jane, and this piece of video captured the fun. RIP Dave Williams, your memory will forever make us smile!
