DESCRIPTION:
A typical interaction between Koalas in Spring time. Surprisingly violent, especially given their usual manner of sleepy indifference to what's happening around them.
I found seeing this at close range quite shocking, though I know it happens a great deal. We don't often get to see it so well because they are usually high up in the trees and generally more active at night.. They would soon loose their reputation for cuteness if we saw this more often. Just watch out for tiny kids looking at it, in the expectation of a cute Koala clip.
