Born and raised in Harlem, NY; he is one of New York’s premier DJ's. Ty-Boogie started out as a battle DJ in the late 90's working his way into the music industry. Ty-Boogie made his first big mark on the NY club scene in NY’s legendary night club “Cheetah” in 2000. From there he left his stamp on other NY Clubs such as [ Duvet, Club N.V., China Club, Club Deep, Supper Club, Mars2112, The Cherry Lounge] that’s just naming a few. Ty-Boogie has also DJ’ed various album release parties for such artist like [Jay-Z, Jada Kiss, Ruff Ryders, Beanie Sigel, Black Rob, Cam'ron, Jim Jones, Jagged Edge, Trey Songs, Mario Winans, Cash Money, Dem Franchise Boyz, Gucci Man, Soulja Boy, Mario, Musiq Soul Child, Rich Boy, Young Berg, keyshia Cole, Lil Kim, JaRule & Ashanti].
In 2003 Ty-Boogie hooked up with MURDER INC Own ASHANTI and became her personal Tour DJ [To Date] Traveling all over the world to places like [Japan, Germany, Europe, etc.] While back in the states he hooked up w/one of the biggest mixtape crews called [GET MONEY NATION] and started making his name in the mixtape/cd market as a Blend King. In 2005 Ty-Boogie won The JUSTO 9TH ANNUAL MIXTAPE AWARD For Best blend DJ of the Year.
In 2008 Ty-Boogie has been able to work his way into the radio world as a DJ & co-host of “FatBoy Radio”; a 2 hrs show that you can hear every Saturday & Sunday on XM 67 The City.
