Cologne-based DJ Teddy-O stands for music, club sets, music productions, events and personality, combining all kinds of different styles and components into unique and powerful music mixes.
DJ Teddy-O has been touring internationally for a long time, now, and has become an integral part of the R&B and hip hop music scene. Over the course of the last ten years his career was marked by performances in music clubs, on international fashion- and music shows, after-show-parties (MTV-Awards, Hugo Boss, Fashion TV, People Magazine, Ed Hardy, Rocawear, Hustler, Playboy, FHM and others) as well as on-stage appearances with stars like P. Diddy, Destiny's Child, Ja Rule, R. Kelly, Outkast, Missy Elliott, Wyclef Jean, Jay-Z, Nelly, Sean Paul, Montell Jordan, Eve, TQ, Pharrell Williams, Busta Rhymes, Eminem, Mario Winans, Ying Yang Twins, Timbaland, Mario, Ryan Leslie, Flo-Rida, Joe, 50Cent, Rihanna, Ludacris, Fatman Scoop, Craig David, and many others.
The distinctive DJ Teddy-O sound, a blend of R&B, hip hop, dancehall, classics, funk, and electro, has spread internationally to countries, such as Austria, Croatia, Denmark, France, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Spain, Ukraine, and even to China. Plus, for the last six summer seasons DJ Teddy-O performed regularly at the world-famous Pacha club on Ibiza.
His popularity throughout the hip hop community is also based on his weekly radio show; "Beat Selection" is hosted by DJ Teddy-O since 2005 and broadcasted on Jam FM, Europe's No.1 black music channel, every Saturday from 20-22h. The show is presented by Jay-Z's fashion label Rocawear. It is woth mentioning that DJ Teddy-O is the only DJ outside the US who enjoys official, personal sponsorship from Rocawear!
In close co-operation with the music major Universal Records, DJ Teddy-O has produced official songs and remixes for artists like Snoop Dogg, Shaggy, Lumidee, Culcha Candela, Lady Gaga, Kanye West, Massari, Booty Luv, CNN (Capone-n-N.O.R.E.), Sean Paul, Flipsyde, Cassandra Steen, Ying Yang Twins, The Product G&B, Mario Winans, Ce'Cile, Dizzee Rascal and more.
