This means that Arts Council England thoughtfully evaluated his career and considered his artistic potential deserving of such a visa. The Tier 1 Global Talent visa is issued to a limited number of talented artists in the world. He is one of the few Japanese artists who obtained this visa. He also won awards at the world’s largest DJ contest called “DMC”.

Takahiko DJ Takaki was highly appreciated by Mr. Walé Adeyemi due to his presence, musicality and style of music before Takahiko DJ Takaki’s profile was widely known in the United Kingdom. Mr. Adeyemi received the Member of the Order of the British Empire (also known as “MBE”) for his remarkable accomplishments as a famed music promotor-cum- fashion designer, and his designs have been worn by Beyoncé, Rihanna, Ellie Goulding, Alicia Keys, and the Black Eyed Peas. Mr. Adeyemi included Takahiko DJ Takaki’s track “flashback” in his compilation album with Takahiko DJ Takaki’s concurrence.

Takahiko DJ Takaki appeared in Panasonic’s commercial film released during the FIFA World Cup 2014. The film, “Neymar Jr. Chant,” was produced for Neymar Jr., a football player for the Brazilian national team. Takahiko DJ Takaki, as the only performer in this film, showcased his fantastic DJ techniques by flawlessly operating ten turn tables. His high-skilled DJ play was impressive, reaching over 1,300,000 views on YouTube during the official release period and attracting world attention. It was also nominated at the world’s largest advertising festival Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity 2014. His performance led to increased business opportunities worldwide.

Takahiko DJ Takaki moved to London, the United Kingdom in 2017. Right after his first gig in London, the British popular culture magazine “MyM” interviewed and featured him on a full-length page in the magazine.

Takahiko DJ Takaki is the only Japanese DJ who plays gigs as a resident DJ at various legendary nightclubs in London. One such venue is Egg Club London, which held the 34th position in the DJ Mag’s International Top 100 Club Awards and won the award for Best Large Club at DJ Mag’s Best of British Awards.

Thereafter, the London-based world’s prestigious record label Critical Music appointed Takahiko DJ Takaki as the lead for their Japan tour. Critical Music is recognised globally, from Europe to the United States, Asia, and other countries. He organised the first Japan tour of Critical Music under his comprehensive directions. This tour received numerous accolades from people concerned in both Japan and the United Kingdom. Every venue was fully sold-out to packed audiences, and the tour caused a sensational movement and impacted the music industries of both countries. This tour was a huge success by all accounts.

In 2019, one of Great Britain’s and world’s best museums, the British Museum, made a direct offer to Takahiko DJ Takaki to perform a music session with a three-stringed traditional Japanese musical instrument Shamisen performer Hibiki Ichikawa in front of historic Nereid Monument exhibited in Room 17 at the British Museum. Costumes were presented by the world-renowned legendary Japanese contemporary fashion designer, Kansai Yamamoto, who is also known as the costume designer for David Bowie. This is an unprecedented achievement for the DJ culture and the electronics music industry as the British Museum had never requested DJs to perform on its premises. Only Takahiko DJ Takaki was granted such a great honour among DJs in the world.

Takahiko DJ Takaki possesses unrivalled artistic and musical abilities, including theory, style, expression and vibe. Based on music theory, he is DJing in an art form by using three or four decks. In complying with requirements and rigid underground music norms, he plays primarily two different music genres - Techno and Drum & Bass - under different artist names.

Takahiko DJ Takaki is an accomplished, phenomenal, and absolutely solid artist who expands his artistic pursuits and continuously reinvents himself. He is truly Japan’s leading DJ and music producer.
