"Spacer Woman - Third Millennium" is the second step conceived & directed by I-Robots , Italian d.j./producer and records collector, aka Gianluca Pandullo, after he compiled the V.A. release "I-Robots: Italo Electro Disco Underground Classics," a collection of eighties underground tracks from "cult" Italian artists such as Alexander Robotnick, Capricorn, Kano, Klein & M.B.O., Charlie and more released by Irma Records.

Inspired by the '83 original "Spacer Woman" by Charlie, G. Pandullo moves into the reinterpretation of this "classic" theme in a contemporary way, while maintaining the key vision of dance. "Third Millennium" achieves it in the form of this E.P. made by a team of "robotic" producers from Turin-Italy.

I-Robots "Spacer Woman" was created by the Traum and Kompakt Pop's artist Oxtongue aka Gianluca Pallotta that maintains the same chords and bassline of the original; it was developed into its own personal print of vocoder-pop tech: this track is much more than a cover...

Gianluca Pandullo extended his view on the "Frau" tracks, written with the Italo-Dutch couple Und (Marco Palmieri & Terry Ann Frencken, their first E.P. released on Trapez ltd 015). Together they created a minimal straight beat, embittered by acid lines that ascend higher and higher against funny German vocals with Dutch accents by T. A. Frencken.

Lastly, once again Und on the "Spazer" liquid mix with T. A. Frencken: English vocals are melded into to never-ending manic, housey, deep atmospheres, coloured with a flurring likened to Daft Punk 's "Revolution 909" track.

The artwork for this release was provided by talented Japanese artist Tamami Saito who works alongside the label to provide unique covers for a selection of Opilec’s records.
