Since 1993, Dj Serial K practises his passion for turntables. From "Above The Law" to "Cypress Hill", Hip-Hop gives him the desire to explore electronic musics.
His first dj sets during parties are Techno but he quickly comes to Drum'n'Bass because of its similarities with Hip-Hop (Aphrodite).
In 1995, Serial K meets the late lamented Willyman who makes him discover DrumnBass. One year later, he starts Jungle mix buying his first vinyls to the French pioneer.
In 1999, with his old friend Marika, they go to many parties under the Urban Ethnik pseudo. For a little while with Suburbahn crew, Serial K joins in 2002 Spagh Records label. (www.spagh.fr).
For 10 years now, Serial K has been playing with internationally well known artists such as Andy C, Optical, Mc Dynamite, Moving Fusion, Nu Balance or Friction,
Presented on big festivals such as Astropolis, Art Rockin famous halls such as UBU(Rennes), Le Scarabée or also in many free party, his mixs are intransigents, without concession, he never let his public having a rest! A powerful scratching set, which stucks your brain on the wall!
Since 2003, Serial K concentrates above all on production. In 2005, he was selected for a drumnBass remix, during the contest Controlling the House, (extract from the album : Laurent Garnier "The Cloud Making Machine"), this remix made in collaboration with Dj Takt aka Hip-J.
Since then, several tracks are getting prepared, in solo or with his friend Marika or with the singer Karmen Drum'n'Bass is the only way !

Depuis 1993, Dj Serial K exerce sa passion pour les platines. De "Above The Law" à "Cypress Hill", le Hip-Hop lui donne l'envie d'explorer les musiques éléctroniques.
Ses premiers sets en soirées sont Techno mais très rapidement il dévie vers la Drum'n'Bass du fait de ses ressemblances avec le Hip-Hop (Aphrodite).
En 1995, Serial K rencontre le regretté Willyman qui lui fait découvrir la Drum'n'Bass. Un an plus tard, il débute le mix Jungle en achetant ses premières galettes au pionnier français.
En 1999, avec sa complice de toujours Marika, ils arpentent de nombreuses soirées sous le pseudo d'Urban Ethnik. Un temps avec le Suburbahn crew, Serial K intègre en 2002 le label Spagh Records. (www.spagh.fr).
Depuis une dizaine dannées, Serial K a joué aux côtés d'artistes internationaux réputés tels que Andy C, Optical, Mc Dynamite, Moving Fusion, Nu Balance ou encore Friction.
Présent sur des festivals comme Astropolis, Art Rock dans des salles renommées comme l'UBU, Le Scarabée ou encore dans de nombreuses free party , les mixs de Serial K sont intransigeants, sans concession, ne laissant aucun répit à son auditoire ! Un set qui gratte, puissant, celui qui vous colle le cerveau contre le mur !
Depuis 2003, Serial K se consacre essentiellement à la production. En 2005, il est sélectionné pour un remix drum'n'Bass, lors du contest tour "Controlling the House", (extrait de l'album de Laurent Garnier "The Cloud Making Machine").
Ce remix est fait en collaboration avec Dj Takt aka Hip-J.
Depuis, plusieurs titres sont en préparation, en solo où avec sa complice Marika ou encore avec la chanteuse Karmen.
