DJ MAC is the ultimate Old Skool and New Jack Swing DJ. Based in Sydney, Australia, DJ Mac first ignited night club dance floors in 1997 working at clubs Gucci in Campbelltown, Flavourhood in Kings Cross and Castles in Sydney City. Since then he has graced the main spot at countless successful Urban Nightclubs, toured as concert DJ and official after party DJ with international recording artists such as 112, Allure, Next, Montel Jordan, Boyz II Men, K'Ci & JoJo, PM Dawn, Snoop Dogg, Bobby Brown, Naughty By Nature, Lost Boyz, LL Cool J, Kelly Clarkson, Sean Kingston, Mandy Moore, Justin Timberlake, Joe, The Game, Kanye West, the Black Eyed Peas & DJ Rectangle to name a few. Mac has also performed for some A List Hollywood celebrities, describing as one of his career highlights performing in Melbourne for a surprise special guest and then turning around to see Nicholas Cage looking over his should to see what Mac was doing on the decks.Mac can be heard weekly on Commercial Radio Station, The Edge 96One. Mac's Old Skool Reunion mixes are each night during the K-Sera & The Dirty Dozen show and online on K-Sera radio. DJ Mac's mixes were being played five times a day during 2006 and 2007 when 96.1 was running a 100% urban music format. You can also hear DJ Mac's Old Skool mixes on community radio's number One show, The Black Label Show on 93.7 every Monday night at 10:45pm. DJ Mac also provides mixes for Virgin Radio in Dubai.In terms of club performances, Mac is resident at the Red Room (old skool RnB & New Jack Swing) which has set the standard for clubbing sophistication and exclusivity for the past 5 years and won the prestigious 2007 Urban Music Awards for Best Club Night in Australia. Mac is also resident or regular guest DJ at Fuego (Latino, Reggaeton & RnB), Glamorous (RnB, Hip-Hop & Pop) and a string of other Urban Clubs and one off events in and around Sydney.
