Born in Chicago and raised all around the world as a military brat, DJ/Broadcast Personality Kaye Dunaway loves Hip Hop. Even as a young girl watching her father DJ house parties back in the day, she knew that one day Hip Hop would indeed love her back. Even as many would complain today of the obstacles that stand before females in a male-dominated profession, Kaye breaks through those barriers as if they never existed.

It wasnt until she went away to Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia that she realized that her love for DJing and rocking parties just for the hell of it could actually turn into a very lucrative career. At that point she began an internship with the Atlanta powerhouse known as V-103. From an internship in the promotions department to production and finally programming, she used her experience there to nab her first radio position as an On-Air Personality & DJ at WFXE Foxie 105 in Columbus, Georgia. It was through WFXE that she was able to establish herself as a very strong female presence in the Mixshow DJ community. At presence, at the time, that was somewhat lacking in the southern parts of the U.S. It is also where she would be drafted by the worldwide DJ crew known as The Tech.Nitions. Many international affiliations would beckon her as she is now a proud member of The Core DJs and the all female network known as Murda Mamis Entertainment.

Kaye Dunaway, whose namesake come from the famous actress Faye Dunaway, is also referred to as The Ladys Champ or The Pretty Python amongst her listeners and fans. If you want to catch her, you're most certain to find her rocking the mic and the turntables at a club near you across the country. Since Kaye has entered the radio scene she has appeared on nationally syndicated TV shows like Rap City and featured in magazines such as King and occasionally seen in your favorite rapper's music videos. However, with all the recognition, Kaye has managed to pave the way for many other females who hope to become DJs and more. Kaye is widely known and respected for her skills, creativity and unique style. Whether she's spinning on the radio or holdin' down the club circuit. She never fails to keep her crowd coming back for more.
