I first started DJ'ing in 1982 when I heard "Planet Rock" by The Soul Sonic Force. That led me to start collecting records, staying on top of the hip-hop game. Soon, I started learning how records mixed. Throughout my younger years, I also played saxophone and drums; that always played a big part in my life. Hip-hop music led me into breakdancing, and I just decided that -- instead of dancing, and because too many people were in it -- I should be a DJ for all the breakers. So that's what I did. In high school, I got into a DJ battle, won, and I DJ'ed all of the school parties, proms, functions, etc.

My senior year of high school, this new nightclub opened in Collinsville called Panama Jax. This club would hold 2000 people comfortably, and they were open Wednesday through Sunday, 9pm-4am. Soon after, I got a job as the house DJ -- and that landed me my first live broadcast on a radio station. I was the first DJ to start a live broadcast in a nightclub directly through an ISDN line to the station. They liked my mixing so much that they hired me -- and that's how I got into radio.

Then, Panama Jax closed their doors, forever. The broadcast went offline, a new club took over, then others (I can't name them all), and so on.

Now it's the year 2000, and Q95.5 comes into play. Got my own radio show called "The 9 o'Clock Vibe" with my host, J-Nicks (now a host on BET). I held that down for two and a half years, and ended up on the road with Chingy as his tour DJ. Traveled all around the world -- the States, Europe (London, Amsterdam, Munich, Brussels, and Paris), Asia (Osaka, Okinawa, and Tokyo), Australia, and New Zealand. Gained an appreciation for world cultures and honed my musical skills.

Now I'm back in St. Louis as a member of the CORE DJs. I've been spending a lot of time with my family and friends, and just got me a manager: Oshae Galyon with 4Self Management and Street Kingz Marketing. I also just launched my new production company, Fluid Groove Productions.

I've been producing beats and hip-hop music since 1991, and I don't mean to quit anytime soon. Fuck all the hatin' -- let's get this shit together and make it happen in St. Louis and beyond.

Now, I'm BACK on St. Louis' newest hip-hop station, WHHL "HOT" 104.1FM, Where Hip-Hop Lives, doing live broadcasts from local clubs every weekend, awaiting my first radio show. Even though I did radio shows on other stations, this is my first personality show. I've just started to get my foot in the door in the radio world -- met a lot of folks on the road with Chingy, made some good contacts, kept it professional -- and now I'm using that to my advantage, conquering my goals in life: have my own record label and production company, with my own artists signed to it. That's my direction.

This summer, I'll be going back on the road with Chingy to promote his new album, "HoodstaR". Can't wait to hit the road again: more money, more contacts to build my empire. I'll be dropping mix CD's and several hundred beats this year -- artists, if you need beats, hit me up on my website. I'll keep this page updated with new tracks as time goes by -- you just be sure to rate and comment on them.

Hope you enjoy the beats and turntablism. Only REAL DJ's know what I'm talking about. I edited my profile with Thomas’ Myspace Editor V3.6!
