Franksen goes way back in the history of Frankfurt's electronic scene. Hosting Germany's eldest radio DJ Show, today's YOU FM Clubnight (formerly simply known as the CLUBNIGHT), he represents electronic culture 360° since more than ten years. As a DJ, producer and music journalist (BEAT Magazine) he boasts versatile skills and seeks his unique approach on an endless groove journey for 15 years.

Franksen appeared on deep and techhouse labels from Suara or Dieb.Audio to Plastic City, WePlayMinimal, InCase Recordings, Salted Music, Amused and many more. Since 2009 he has released a string of fine tracks with collabo partners Tom Wax or D. Diggler. 2012 is his time to go solo. Franksen releases on Circle Music, Kaato Music, Amused Records, Mainakustik, Global Ritmico, Meleon Music and more labels to come.

For DIAMETRAL he delivers an EP full of versatile techhouse flavours. Where his long lasting love for old school sounds embraces modern and functional arrangements. Timeless chords, fervent beats and an overall soulful yet demanding vibe makes this release a nicely mixed package that could fill the soundspace of any club at any time of the night!

Stix
Ridding in on a dead cool bassline, some driving claps and sticks, this tracks shows Franksen's expertise in the mixup of housy vibes and an old school techno, even breakbeat feel. A track that makes you smile and dance!
